Congratulations Sr. Marie -Julie, Roxbury, MA
I am Sister Marie-Julie, an experienced educator at Mother Clarac Daycare located in West Roxbury. Over the course of my 37-year journey as a member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Mary in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, I have had the privilege of working with children of diverse age groups in various countries. These enriching experiences have opened my mind to different cultures and teaching methodologies, allowing me to better understand and cater to the unique needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
As an educator for nearly three decades, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to witness how rapidly children learn and blossom, making positive decisions. My passion lies in fostering the development of young minds, and I find immense fulfillment in my role as a teacher.
To further support children with challenging behaviors and developmental delays, I rely on Shared Services for valuable tools and resources. Shared Services equips me with the necessary materials to effectively engage parents and facilitate the integration of children with special needs into the classroom environment. I also utilize the developmental materials associated with the Ages and Stages screening (ASQ) tool, which has proven to be invaluable in my practice.
Creating a warm, welcoming, and nurturing family environment is crucial in enabling young people to thrive and acquire the skills and qualities necessary for success in life. As a Family Childcare Educator, I am privileged to provide a stimulating and loving environment that promotes the full potential of the children in our care. Outdoor play is an integral part of our curriculum, as it stimulates and motivates the children, fostering their holistic growth.
In my pursuit of professional development, I have completed Shared Services Business Training 101 and ASQ/DRIVE Screening, and I eagerly anticipate participating in the Marketing 2.0 course in September 2023. I am committed to continually enhancing my skills and knowledge to better serve the children and families entrusted to my care.
