Congratulations Rachel Sanchez, Dorchester, MA
My story as an educator has been fantastic. My name is Rachel Sanchez, and I am a mother of four beautiful, intelligent children. My program has been active for 14 years, and until now, we continue to work, always available to families in need of caring for their treasures. The Share Services workshops have been a blessing for my program. They have helped me understand both how to run the business and keep up with so many things one takes for granted in this business. Each workshop is important because I always learn something new to apply to my program and also am able to provide a better service to my families. In addition, each workshop has made me a better early education professional. I am very grateful for Shared Services; all the tools it provides for our use are wonderful.
My inspiration to start my childcare business was my children. When my third child was born, I was forced to leave my job and stay home. Already at home taking care of my three children, it emerged that my friend needed support with her children so that she could work; that is how my journey as an educator began. Since 2008 I have been in this profession that I love with all my heart. With ups and downs, I have always been learning and giving my best for my students and their families. In 2010, my 4th daughter was born, and I felt privileged to take care of her while working from home. Being able to help families with the care and learning of their little ones and able to help their babies grow, and providing them with high-quality service is a privilege for me.
