My name is Nadine and I love teaching young children to develop life skillsand be of great value in society. My passion for teaching has led me in manydifferent directions. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education (Preschool &Elementary) from the University of Puerto Rico accredited by the NationalAssociation for the Education of Young Children NAEYC. and I have my CDA (ChildDevelopment Credential) as well as a Master's Degree in Special Education fromthe Central University, Bayamon, PR.

I have 12 years of experience as an educator. In Massachusetts.   I worked in Preschool and during thatjourney I gained experience and licensure as a lead toddler and preschoolteacher, as well as Director II from the Massachusetts Department of EarlyEducation and Care (EEC).

In 2020 I culminated my work journey with the opening of My Little FriendBuilding Preschool & Daycare in Lawrence, MA. My Little Friend Building isa family childcare program where each of my little students have theopportunity to grow by exploring and learning with love.

I came to Lawrence, MA with the hope and excitement of reaching out to eachand every family that has the interest and need for their child to be enrolledin a program where each day I observe the holistic development of each child,exposing them to different activities and working with the different areas ofdevelopment, setting developmental goals and objectives for each child.

My expertise in curriculum and teaching at the preschool level gives me theopportunity to create every month different topics of interest for each of thechildren according to each stage of development. In my program, strangersarrive and become friends in a big family!

Shared Services of Massachusetts has helped me through the entire administrative path. I participated in their business training where I learned strategies on how to see in numbers how my business is doing. Knowing how to work on the balance sheet, budget etc. Thanks to SSM I have been able to be educated in different areas. They have helped me by offering workshops to put what I have learned into practice, learn better strategies for the development of a Quality Preschool Program!
