Congratulations Maria Rivera, Lawrence, MA
Maria Rivera arrived from the Dominican Republic in search of a new future. She was given an opportunity to work in a local daycare, and since she was already a mother of two, she decided to open her own business. This experience transformed her understanding of parenting. Through her job, she learned to recognize and meet her children's needs, to cherish their moments of playfulness, and to appreciate their emotions.
With the support of Shared Services of Massachusetts, Maria gained the tools to better organize her life and manage her finances. Additionally, she has completed several university courses related to children’s development and learning. Looking to the future, Maria is preparing to open her own center or pre-kindergarten, driven by a belief in the tremendous potential this venture holds for success in the business world.
"Pintando Caminos Daycare," where Maria Rivera has been a beloved and trusted caregiver in the community for over 15 years. With a deep passion for nurturing young minds, Maria brings not only joy but also a sense of security and belonging to every child in her care. Her dedication to providing a safe, creative, and enriching environment ensures that each child feels valued and encouraged to grow. Through her years of experience, Maria has become an integral part of the families she serves, creating lasting relationships and fostering a love of learning in the youngest members of the community.
